CBS has secured James Corden as host of “The Late Late Show” through August 2022.
The network has reportedly given Corden a raise over his previous $4 to $5 million salary.
Corden, who garnered the most Emmy nominations of a single performer this year, has also helmed “Carpool Karaoke” specials and competition show “World’s Best” for CBS.
Corden is also known for a variety of viral-worthy segments including “Crosswalk the Musical” and “Drop the Mic.”
Although Corden will continue on “Late Late” until 2022, the contract announcement did not include mentions of possible additional “Carpool Karaoke” specials or the status of “World’s Best.”
