“CBS Evening News” paid tribute to Ana Real, a CBS News editor who died Tuesday.
- Real, who was the network’s foreign editor for primetime, died from leukemia.
- Her life and work were recognized on Wednesday, March 27, 2019’s edition of “Evening News” with a package from Bill Whitaker.
- CBS News president Susan Zirinsky also tweeted a tribute to Real.
