CBS aired a two “expedition” themed promos for its upcoming Paramount+ streamer during Super Bowl LV Feb. 7, 2021, that feature a variety of starts — both human, animated and other forms.
It’s worth noting both “CBS Evening News” anchor Norah O’Donnell and “CBS This Morning” anchor Gayle King make appearances one of these spots.
An earlier spot, entitled “Morning Chat” features knock off “CBS This Morning” graphics (based on an old look) that also retitles the show “CBS This Mountain.”
CBS has been promoting the series with the tagline “a mountain of entertainment” and the #ParamountPlus and #PeakStreaming hashtags.
The mountain used in the Paramount studio vanity card and logos over the years has changed slightly and there are debates over what real life peak, if any, the landform shown in it is modeled after.
Here’s a look at the other spots in the campaign each of which is set at a different elevation:
Paramount+ launches March 4, 2021.
