Charlie Gibson returning at ABC with book podcast

Former “Good Morning America” and “World News Tonight” anchor Charlie Gibson will host a new podcast on books with his daughter for ABC Audio, The Hollywood Reporter was first to report.
Starting May 2, 2022, he and daughter Kate Gibson will launch “The Book Case.”
The version edition will feature an interview with Oprah Winfrey discussing her famous book club and her own reading habits.
New episodes will be released weekly.
Charlie Gibson worked for ABC News for 35 years before retiring in 2009. Prior to that he spent years at “GMA” and as a Washington, D.C.-based correspondent.
Kate Gibson worked for public television and Food Network and is pursuing a master’s degree in library and information sciences.
Her husband, David Canada, will serve as a producer on the podcast.
