Chicago O&O names ‘Windy City Live’ producer to content chief

Matt Knutson, the executive producer of ABC Chicago’s local lifestyle show “Windy City Live” has been promoted to oversee content innovation at the O&O.

Knutson started with “Windy City” as a line producer in 2011 and moved up to EP in 2015.

In his new role, Knutson will work on developing new content across the station’s platforms.

He will leave his EP role on “WCL,” but there’s no word on a replacement.
