Chris Cuomo quits SiriusXM radio show after CNN firing

Now former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo says he’s also leaving his SiriusXM radio show, according to a tweet he posted.
Cuomo, who was fired by CNN after an investigation into alleged concerns over journalistic ethics and conflicts of interest relating to the sexual harassment accusations against his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, tweeted Dec. 6, 2021, that he will end his run on the satellite radio provider.
“While I have a thick skin, I also have a family, for whom the past week has been extraordinarily difficult,” he tweeted.
“So, right now, I have to take a step back and focus on what comes next,” noting that he will stepping away from his radio show.

In the tweet, he thanked SiriusXM and the team there as well as his listeners.
He also noted that he looks forward to “being back in touch with you all in the future.”
