One block of “CNN Newsroom,” the network’s brand for rolling daytime news coverage, is getting a new anchor.
- CNN national correspondent Jim Sciutto is joining Poppy Harlow’s two hour block from 9 to 11 a.m. eastern.
- Harlow previously co-anchored with John Berman, who was promoted to “New Day” anchor after Chris Cuomo departed for a primetime show on the network.
- The morning block of “CNN Newsroom” airs after three hours of “New Day,” and is followed by “At This Hour” at 11 a.m., “Inside Politics” at noon and “Wolf” at 1 p.m.
- “Wolf” is followed by another two hour block of “CNN Newsroom” before “The Lead” kicks off at 4 p.m., starting off network’s early evening, evening and primetime schedule.
Looking forward! I’ve got quite a teammate in @PoppyHarlowCNN https://t.co/luZ14mM7Cq
