Colin Kaepernick’s Nike commercial gets Emmy nom

Nike’s “Dream Crazy” commercial featuring NFL player Colin Kaepernick and other sports legends has been nominated for an Emmy.
Kaepernick was picked as the face of Nike’s 30th anniversary “Just Do It” campaign.
Kaepernick has garnered significant attention with his practice of kneeling during the national anthem at NFL games.
Despite fears that Kaepernick’s controversy could harm the strongest athletic brand int he world, so far the effort has paid positive dividends for Nike — including a boost in social following.
The “Dream Crazy” spots notably feature Kaepernick, Serena Williams and LeBron James.
