The WatchESPN app has officially been killed off.
The app was first launched in 2011 and provided a way for pay TV customers to sign in with “TV Anywhere” logins and watch live streams, as its name implies.
However, in a move to consolidate its app portfolio, ESPN is combining the WatchESPN content into the main ESPN app.
The latest versions of the ESPN app also integrates with ESPN+, the paid streaming service the network launched in 2018.
