Feeding America credits $10 million gift to NBC News report

A July report from NBC News’ Cynthia McFadden, Christine Romo and Kenzi Abou-Sabe about military families struggling to put food on the table has apparently lead to a piece of good news.

• Feeding America, a hunger relief organization, says it received a $10 million donation from an anonymous donor.
• According to Feeding America, the donor did cite the NBC News report as the inspiration for the donation.
• NBC News announced the donation in its “Morning Rundown” newsletter.
