FS1 ceasing all live studio programming until March 20
Fox’s FS1 (and other sports networks) has been left without many professional sports to cover — but now it’s also halting production on all of its live studio programming.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we have made the decision to suspend production of our live FS1 daily studio shows through at least Friday, March 20,” Fox Sports said in a release to The Big Lead. “Our top priority is the health and safety of our employees. We will continue to monitor the situation and adjust accordingly.”
The network normally fills an 11 hour chunk of time from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with live sports focused shows “First Things First,” “Undisputed,” “The Herd,” “Speak for Yourself” and “Lock It In.”
None of those shows will produce new editions until at least March 20. It’s not immediately clear what the network will do with all that empty time.
