ABC News “Good Morning America” anchor and Fox Sports analyst Michael Strahan has reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus, reports TMZ.
Strahan has been off “GMA” this week and is reportedly quarantining, according to TMZ sources in a Jan. 27, 2021, report.
His “GMA” co-anchor George Stephanopoulos tested positive for COVID-19 in 2020, but did not suffer major symptoms. His wife, comedian Ali Wentworth, also contracted the disease but did experience symptoms.
There’s no immediate word if Strahan is experiencing symptoms and Stephanopoulos and co-anchor Robin Roberts are still appearing in studio as of Jan. 27.
Earlier in the pandemic, the show switched to producing the show from co-anchors’ homes.
