How CBS News is covering the Super Bowl across all its platforms

With CBS airing the Super Bowl this year, the network’s news division is following suit with extended coverage throughout the week leading up to the game.

• “CBS Evening News” will feature coverage from Atlanta, including a focus on the security surrounding the game, how the city is preparing for the crowds and a story about a Make-A-Wish Foundation effort to make a boy’s Super Bowl dream come true.
• The network’s Sunday morning political affairs show “Face the Nation” will originate from the NFL Experience in Atlanta on Super Bowl Sunday.
• “CBS This Morning” is also planning extended coverage of the game, including a look at the new Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
• The network’s streaming news service CBSN will also offer extended preview coverage.
