Jacksonville Jaguars owner invests in Black News Channel
The owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars is investing in the Black News Channel, the U.S.’s only 24 hour news network aimed at African American viewers.
- Billionaire Shad Khan, who is Pakistani American, has invested in the venture, which is set to launch in November.
- Khan’s investment is “significant” and “open ended.”
- Khan hopes the network “becomes a bridge to connect all the cultures, including obviously south Asian, which I am,” he said in an interview with NBC.
