“NBC Nightly News” paid tribute to longtime employee Larry Edgeworth March 20, 2020, who died from COVID-19.
Anchor Lester Holt noted his death on the broadcaster with pictures of Edgeworth and his birth and death years on the video wall behind him.
Holt then offered a voiceover tribute to the staffer — including remembering times to two had worked together on assignments.
