MSNBC anchor hugs Willie Geist as he runs NYC marathon

MSNBC anchor Stephanie Ruhle, a self proclaimed “super fan” of fellow NBC Newser Willie Geist jumped over a barricade to give him a hug during the New York City Marathon Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021.

Ruhle was on the sidelines when she spotted Geist headed her way and jumped over the temporary barriers set up along the street to give him some encouragement.

She noted it was “great news” that she didn’t get arrested for jumping over the barrier.
