“NBC Nightly News” had a technical issue Saturday, Aug. 1, 2020 that slowed down correspondent Sam Brock’s voiceover.
The result was reminiscent of the moment in “Home Alone” when Kevin McCallister, played by Macaulay Culkin, uses a slowed down recording of his own voice to make his voice sound deeper when making a hotel reservation under his father’s name.
