New Year’s Eve pool feed and footage details announced

Countdown Entertainment and the Times Square Alliance have released details about pool feeds and B-roll footage ahead of the 2023 New Year’s Eve celebration in Times Square.
Recorded B-roll video of the installation and testing of various elements of the crystal ball drop will be available for news outlets to use starting Dec. 1, 2022, with most occurring after Dec. 20, 2022.
Also included is information about how to tap into the live pool feeds provided via fiber or satellite. The feed will go live at 6 p.m. eastern Dec. 31, 2022, with bars and tone running from 4 to 5:55 p.m. that day.
There will also be a commercial-free webcast that can be embedded on social media and digital media platforms. The feed includes performances (artists to be announced), hourly countdowns and other segments.
Both feeds will feature views of Times Square and performances throughout the night.
