Mitch McConnell (R-Kentucky) is the target of ads paid for by a republican group.
The ads call out McConnell’s blocking of election security bills as well as a melange of clips of Donald Trump dismissing election interference threats from Russia.
Republicans for the Rule of Law took out the ads on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and Fox’s “Fox & Friends” in the Washington and Kentucky markets.
McConnell’s move to block the bill sparked the nickname (and accompanying hashtag) “Moscow Mitch.”
