After reporting a “super mild sore throat” and runny nose, NBC “Today” co-anchor Savannah Guthrie says she’ll be anchoring the show from her basement Wednesday, March 18, 2020.
Guthrie posted a photo on Instagram Tuesday evening showing her in what is apparently her live setup — which appears to include at least some professional gear.
One member of the “Today Third Hour” team has tested positive for coronavirus — and both Al Roker and Craig Melvin have been self isolating at home because they had some contact with that person.
Guthrie won’t be the first person to make a “Today” appearance from home during the coronavirus scare — Roker did Tuesday morning.
