Soccer player grabs on field mic and yells for gun control on live TV broadcast

Pro soccer player Alejandro Bedoya grabbed an on-field microphone and sent a solid message to Congress about gun control during a Sunday, Aug. 4, 2019, game.
- During the game, which was being aired by FS1, Bedoya scored the game’s first goal and then ran over to a microphone placed on the field to capture natural sound from the game.
- “Hey, Congress, do something now! End gun violence! Let’s go,” he shouted.
- The audio was heard by viewers.
