This network is airing ‘Hocus Pocus’ 28 times before Halloween
Disney owned Freeform has announced it will play the fan favorite Halloween move “Hocus Pocus” 28 times this October.
- It’s all part of the network’s “31 Days of Halloween” programming lineup.
- The network will air the movie 23 times starting Oct. 1, 2019.
- Then, just in case they didn’t catch one of those times, viewers can watch it starting at 12:30 p.m. eastern on Halloween Day.
- It will run a total of five times Oct. 31, with the last broadcast starting at 8:50 p.m.
- Freeform has the exclusive broadcast rights to the movie, which was produced by its corporate cousin Disney.
- Freeform will also air a variety of other Halloween and horror films starting Oct. 1 (the complete schedule is here).
- It’s not immediately clear why the network didn’t throw in three more showing to hit 31.
- Freeform was previously known as ABC Family.
