Times Square New Year’s Eve pool information released
The co-organizers of the famous Times Square ball drop on New Year’s Eve will, as usual, offer HD satellite and fiber feeds of the celebration as well as behind-the-scenes preparations leading up to the big night.
- The New Year’s Eve feeds will be offered for free with no bug or logo.
- It will be offered nonstop via fiber and satellite uninterrupted from 4:15 p.m. eastern to 12:15 a.m.
- Feeds will include hourly countdowns, panoramic views of Times Square, views of performances and attendees.
- In addition, a commercial free hosted live stream will also be available for broadcasters and social media.
In the days leading up to New Year’s Eve, video will also be available of the following events
- Dec. 3: Wishing Wall
- Dec. 11: Numeral Arrival
- Dec. 26: Numeral Installation atop One Times Square
- Dec. 27: Crystal Installation
- Dec. 28: Good Riddance Day
- Dec. 29: Confetti Test
- Dec. 30: Ball Test and Balloon Preparation
Organizers are also adding social media ready content this year as well as B-roll and archival footage.
