All four hours of NBC News‘ “Today” will broadcast from Orlando, Florida, Friday, Feb. 28, 2020.
The network will originate the two hour main show, “Today Third Hour” and “Today with Hoda and Jenna” from the “Today Cafe” at Universal Orlando Resort.
This means “Hoda and Jenna” will not originate from Studio 6A (Megyn Kelly’s old studio) with a studio audience as it normally does Thursdays and Fridays but likely will have an audience gathered around the cafe.
Universal Resorts is a division of NBCUniversal, the parent company of NBC.
The resort is also hosting NBC’s “Peacock Live” fan festival March 28 to 29 ahead of the July launch of NBC’s streaming service Peacock.
