Amazon Prime Video’s “Transparent” is set to air a musical series finale as a way to move beyond the scandal involving former star Jeffrey Tambor.
The show was plagued with a scandal involving alleged sexual harassment and misconduct by Tambor, who was one of the show’s original stars.
He exited the show in 2018.
The musical finale will focus on the Pfefferman family’s grief in an unexpected loss and use music numbers to illustrate family members to celebrate connection, joy and transformation, according to Variety.
