BBC broadcaster Victoria Fritz had an earring fall off in the middle of delivering a news segment Friday, April 15, 2022.
Fritz was presenting a story about the Ukraine-Russia crisis when the earring could be seen falling off her ear lobe and landing on the anchor desk with an audible clunk.
“Sorry about that, it’s my earring. I’ve lost the back to it so I’ll keep going,” she said after it fell.
I might as well own it. Here's a Friday blooper to start your bank holiday weekend. pic.twitter.com/z6njM9u6B7

Later, on Twitter, she noted she “might as well own it,” before helpfully include a clip of the incident to “start your bank holiday weekend,” a reference to the upcoming Easter holidays.
