An anonymous woman has reported that now former CNN anchor Chris Cuomo sexually harassed her.

Cuomo was fired Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, after a review by a third party law came back.

While it’s not entirely clear what the report found, Cuomo allegedly provided his brother, former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo with advice and guidance following Andrew’s own sexual harassment allegations, according to a slew of materials released by the state earlier in the week, including transcripts of Chris’ own testimony to New York.

That materials raised concern bout his journalistic ethics and objectivity given the two brothers’ high profiles. Chris Cuomo has said he was only trying to help a family member, but many in the industry felt his actions went too far.

Early in the pandemic, Chris would have Andrew on to discuss the coronavirus numbers, when the pair would disclose their relationship, which was never kept quiet. CNN eventually said that Chris could no longer cover his brother as the sexual harassment allegations against him heated up.

After the materials dropped, CNN put Chris Cuomo on suspension, but ultimately fired him four days later.

The woman, who is remaining anonymous, issued the accusations against Chris through an attorney.

She felt she needed to come forward after it came to light that Chris was attempting to aid his brother in defending himself against actions both allegedly did on separate occasions.

Chris was earlier accused of harassment by ABC News exec Shelley Ross, who wrote in a published column that Chris groped her at a party. Chris admitted to the incident and said he later apologized.
