Now in its second season on ABC, “American Idol” is headed to Hawaii.
- The Sunday, March 32, 2019 episode of the show, which is slated to run three hours, has the remaining contestants and judges heading to Hawaii.
- The show is staying at Disney’s Aulani Resort, which is owned by ABC’s parent company, so there’s an obvious corporate tie-in.
- The “Idol” judges sat down with local ABC affiliate KITV for an interview and preview of the episode.
