Fox’s “Bill Hemmer Reports” debuts Monday, Jan. 20, 2020.
- The show replaces “Shepard Smith Reporting” at 3 p.m. eastern.
- “Shepard Smith” ended after the show’s namesake host left the network in a surprise move in October 2019.
- Since then, the 3 p.m. hour was renamed “Fox News Reporting” and had a series of fill in hosts.
- In December, Fox announced Hemmer as the permanent host of the hour.
- Hemmer had been host of “America’s Newsroom,” and has his last show Friday, Jan. 17.
- Hemmer will be replaced, meanwhile, by Ed Henry on the three hour morning block.
