CBS News fires former ABC staffer who leaked Amy Robach video: Report
CBS News has reportedly fired the employee who allegedly leaked a video of ABC News anchor Amy Robach complaining about how her Jeffrey Epstein story was shelved, reports Yashar Ali.
- The person worked for ABC at the time, reported Ali earlier.
- According to Ali’s sources, ABC News believed it identified the leaker.
- The leaker reportedly had since left the network for CBS News, however.
- ABC did reach out to management at CBS, reported Ali.
- Now, CBS has fired the employee, according to two Ali sources.
- It’s not immediately clear if the person in question leaked the video directly to Project Veritas, which released the video earlier this week, or if it made its way there another way.
5. Update: Two sources familiar with the matter tell me that CBS News has fired the staffer in question. This comes after ABC informed CBS that they had determined who accessed the footage of Amy Robach expressing her frustrations about the Epstein story. https://t.co/OHEoyahppY
