CNN president accuses Trump of endangering journalists’ lives

CNN president Jeff Zucker accused the Trump White House of endangering the lives of CNN journalists.
- “Quite literally, they put our lives at risk with their words and actions,” Zucker said during a speech at the RTDNF awards ceremony Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
- CNN journalists have been the target of both physical and verbal abuse at Trump campaign events.
- Donald Trump also tweeted a doctored video that made it appear he was hitting the CNN logo with a folding chair.
- Trump has also been accused of trying to block the merger between AT&T and Time Warner, CNN’s parent company at the time, allegedly over his dislike of the network.
