Drew Brees announces he’s joining NBC Sports as analyst after retiring from the NFL

After announcing his retirements from the NFL Sunday, March 14, 2021, former New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is joining NBC Sports.
Brees made the announcement Monday, March 15, 2021, on “Today,” where the show’s co-hosts cheered after the announcement.
He will appear as a studio analyst for “Football Night in America” and a game analyst for Notre Dame games, as well as contribute to other sports coverage, including the rescheduled 2020 Olympics in Tokyo and the upcoming 2022 Super Bowl LVI.
