Fox Business suspending two shows during coronavirus outbreak
Fox Business has put two of its primetime shows on “hiatus” so that it can devote more resources to coronavirus coverage as of March 13, 2020.
“Trish Regan Primetime,” which airs at 8 p.m. eastern, and “Kennedy” at 9 p.m. will both be suspended.
The network says it will use the teams normally dedicated to those shows on dayside coverage of the effects coronavirus is having on markets.
In place of these programs, Fox will air long form programming in their timeslots.
Regan’s show has taken fire recently for its reporting on the COVID-19 outbreak that appears to blame liberals for exaggerating the effects of the pandemic to run down Donald Trump — including running a graphic titled “Coronavirus Impeachment Scam,” notes Variety.
Meanwhile, Fox’s conservative cable channel pre-empted “The Ingraham Angle” March 13 for live coverage of the outbreak.
