How Jeff Zucker’s resignation may have been tied to Chris Cuomo’s firing

After the surprise departure of CNN chief Jeff Zucker, Vanity Fair digs deeper into the culture and leadership at the network — and how it might have ties to Zucker’s firing of former anchor Chris Cuomo.

The publication reports that Cuomo’s attorneys brought up the alleged affair between Zucker, who is divorced, and Allison Gollust, the network’s head of marketing.

Gollust and Zucker have worked together for nearly 20 years, first at CNN and previously when they both worked at NBC.
