Jim Parsons to produce LBGTQ documentary series for HBO Max streamer

Former star of “The Big Bang Theory” Jim Parsons has teamed up with Greg Berlanti to produce a four part documentary on the LGBTQ movement for the upcoming HBO Max streaming service.

• Titled “Equal,” the series will combined high quality re-enactments with archival footage documenting the people, places and causes of the LGBTQ movement.
• “Equal” will be the first production from the newly formed Warner Horizon Unscripted TV’s unit, which is part of WarnerMedia.
• Parsons is also working with his “Big Bang” co-start Mayim Bialik on a comedy series for Fox — though he’s working the behind the scenes.
