‘Morning Joe’ looks back at history of political conventions in open

MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” took viewers on a trip through past GOP and Democratic national conventions at the top of its Aug. 17, 2020 show.

The extended open featured imagery from conventions dating back to the John F. Kennedy era with select audio clips while the network’s iconic election theme music played.
