NBC’s streaming service gets name, debut date and programming lineup

NBCUniversal’s new streaming serviced, which has been christened “Peacock,” will launch in April 2020 and include a lineup of movies and TV shows.
- The service will become the home to Universal films.
- In addition, NBC shows “The Office,” “Parks & Recreation,” “30 Rock,” “Cheers,” “Everybody Loves Raymond,” “Saturday Night Live,” “Will & Grace,” “Brooklyn Nine Nine” and “Fraiser” will be featured.
- NBC is also planning a “Battlestar Galactica” and “Saved by the Bell” reboot.
