NBCUniversal’s streaming service Peacock is offering 40% off “preorders” as its launch date nears.
The deal puts the service’s Premium tier, which includes access to all content but with non-skippable ads, at $29.99 a year, normally $49.99.
Premium Ad Free, which removes most ads, is available for $79.99 a year, compared to $99.99 a year.
Peacock begins streaming to the public July 15, 2020 but the premium version is currently available to Xfinity customers at no cost.
The service will also launch a free version with limited content selection and commercials starting July 15. Xfinity customers are also expected to be able to pay a surcharge to remove most ads.
All offers expire July 14, 2020 and require an upfront payment for the full total.
The service has been heavily promoted across NBCUniversal’s platforms.
