‘Storm Stories’ returning to Weather Channel after nine years on the bench

Fan favorite “Storm Stories” is returning to The Weather Channel after a nine year hiatus.
- Retitled “Storm Stories: The Next Chapter,” the series will be hosted by Jim Cantore and feature two weather stories per episode.
- The series, which was also promoted with the subtitle “The Return,” will debut Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019 at 8 p.m. eastern.
- “Storm Stories” previously aired nine seasons on the network, but was canceled in 2010, with reruns appearing until 2015.
