There’s a hidden mule in the University of Missouri’s logo

University of Missouri alum and fans are freaking out because someone figured out there’s a hidden animal in the school’s stacked “MU” logo.

• Surprisingly, it’s not a tiger, which is the school’s mascot.
• It’s actually a mule — which happens to be the state animal of Missouri.
• St. Louis Post-Dispatch reporter Dave Matter, who covers the school, tweeted that his fourth grader learned the “secret” at school.
• It’s not immediately clear, however, if the mule was designed to be there or is just a coincidence.
• The University of Missouri’s Columbia campus, which is also known as “Mizzou” is also home to a famous journalism school.
