‘Vice News Tonight’ expanding, going live

“Vice News Tonight” is, in addition to moving to a new channel, also expanding its timeslot and switching to a live format.
“Vice News Tonight” originally aired on HBO, but the show was canceled after three seasons.
Meanwhile, Viceland, which is now known as Vice on TV, has been prepping for a relaunch of the show.
While it was on HBO, the show aired a taped 30 minute version.
With the relaunch, it will now air live for 60 minutes Monday through Thursday.
Vice also says it is expanding its production and editorial team.
