The Wendy Williams Show” is delivering about the same ratings without Wendy Williams.

The show, which had its Season 13 premiere delayed twice due to purported ongoing health issues with Williams, registered an uptick in viewers when it finally returned with new shows Oct. 24, 2021.

That week featured a panel cast on Monday followed by four days of Leah Remini.

That’s not surprising in itself given that almost any show tends to do better when new episodes air and Williams’ show is heavily driven by current events and pop culture.

That week scored an average rating of 0.8, which was up from the previous week, which only had 0.5.

That said, the really interesting number to watch is year over year performance. Last year, “Williams” had a 0.9 rating at this point in the season.

Although that’s obviously slightly higher, there’s also been a general downward dip in ratings this year over 2020.

It’s also important to note that Williams’ absence could be a driving force behind how many people who are tuning in — with viewers curious to see how guest hosts do.
