‘Whiskey Cavalier’ canceled

ABC has announced its much hyped “Whiskey Cavalier” will be canceled after just one season.

  • The show, starring “Scandal” alum Scott Foley and former “Walking Dead” star Lauren Cohan, was heavily promoted by the network.
  • Foley and Cohan posted a video on Instagram thanking viewers and the production team.
  • Cohan was in the middle of negotiating a deal with “Dead” on AMC when she took the role on the ABC thriller drama.
  • Though she left the main cast of “Dead,” she did appear in select episodes of Season 9.
