Whoopi Goldberg co-hosts ‘The View’ from home

“The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg co-hosted the show remotely from her New Jersey home March 18, 2020.

On Tuesday, March 17, 2020, the show announced Goldberg was taking the day off to check with her doctor and “planned” on being back March 18.

Goldberg revealed that she did visit her doctor, who gave her the all clear to go into the studio, but then conflicting messages made her change her mind.

It appears that ABC sent a professional camera, sound and light crew to her home to create a home studio.

Last week co-host Joy Behar announced she would be taking time off the show on advice of her doctors.
