“Good Morning America” host Lara Spencer apologized on air Monday, Aug. 26, 2019, for making fun of Prince George’s school schedule that included ballet classes.
Spencer (along with the show’s studio audience) laughed at a story about how Prince George’s upcoming school year will include ballet lessons.
Spencer issued an online apology on Instagram.
However, that apparently wasn’t the end of the story — ABC had her appear on “GMA” Monday morning and apologize on air.
“The comment I made about dance was insensitive, it was stupid, and I am deeply sorry,” she said on air after admitting she “screwed up.”
