Dick Wolf has inked a five year with NBCUniversal’s Universal Television, reports Deadline.
The deal includes three year renewals for all four of Wolf’s series currently airing on NBC: “Chicago Fire,” “Chicago P.D.,” “Chicago Med” and “Law & Order: SVU.”
“SVU” is currently the longest running live action primetime show in TV history — now in its 21st season.
The deal also includes multiple series commitments for multiple NBCU platforms.
Previously, NBCU and Wolf reached a deal to stream all of his NBC series on the upcoming Peacock streaming platform.
Combined, sources tell Deadline that the two deals approach a billion dollars in value.
