Wendy Williams confirms her husband fathered a child with another woman

Wendy Williams confirmed reports that her estranged husband, Kevin Hunter, fathered a child with another woman.

The talk show host sat for an interview with The New York Times Magazine and confirmed that news of the “major indiscretion” was the breaking point that lead to her to file for divorce.

Hunter did not respond to requests for comment about his wife’s statements and has not directly confirmed the reports.

The couple had been married for about 20 years.

Williams and Hunter, whose divorce is not finalized, have a 19-year-old son, also named Kevin.

Williams was absent from her talk show for several weeks earlier this year after reports swirled that she suffered a breakdown after hearing the news of her husband’s other child.

Reports also indicated that the absence may have involved her Graves disease and thyroid issues — and has also been open about her battles with substance abuse.
