Fox’s Ainsley Earhardt gleefully celebrated the “end” of daily White House press briefings.
- On Jan. 13, 2020’s “Fox & Friends,” Earhardt celebrated the apparently end of the daily briefing by saying it will be “nice not to see all that grandstanding.”
- On Jan. 11, over a dozen former government officials signed an open letter calling for the return of daily briefings as a key part of American democracy.
- White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham, who has not held a single daily press briefing since taking over in July, appeared to reject that idea Jan. 12.
