ESPN has shifted the debut of its Michael Jordan documentary series from June to April 2020.
The 10 part docuseries will now start airing April 19, 2020.
The move was made in response to viewer requests for more original programming at a time when most professional and even amateur sports are shut down during to coronavirus — leaving the network with little to cover.
Titled “The Last Dance,” the series, which was produced prior to the coronavirus outbreak, follows the famed Chicago Bulls player.
Over 100 people were interviewed and the Bulls gave the filmmakers access to the team during its previous season.
Outside of the United States, the documentary will be available on Netflix.
