MSNBC anchor Brian Williams brought his viewers news of the “death” of outrage.

“We begin tonight with sad word that funeral services are pending this evening after the death of outrage earlier today. Outrage officially died of exhaustion, though buoyed at the very end by one bright spot: the realization that its close relative apathy survives and is thriving,” said Williams on “The 11th Hour.”

Williams then went on to cover Trump’s outrage over the discovery that Russia is purportedly helping him get re-elected through the use of misinformation campaigns on social media.
